LYRICS (Translation)

There was the little falcon flying,
Aladum ladum, the little falcon.

Through three – four forests,
Aladum ladum, four.

Oh, and the night just suddenly came
Aladum ladum, the night.

There is no place to spend a night for the little falcon
Aladum ladum, for the little falcon.

– Spend this night, the little falcon
Aladum ladum, the little falcon

In the green forest with the cuckoo
Aladum ladum, with the cuckoo

– I don’t know if she’s going to welcome me
Aladum ladum, if she’s going to welcome me

I haven’t been flying together with her
Aladum ladum, haven’t been flying

I didn’t take her motley feather
Aladum ladum, didn’t take it
————————————————-
The young man was riding
Aladum ladum, the young man

Through three – four fields
Aladum ladum, four.

Oh, and the night just suddenly came
Aladum ladum, the night.

There is no place to spend a night for the young man
Aladum ladum, for the young man.

– Spend this night, in the palace of the father in law
Aladum ladum, the young man

In the barn with the young girl
Aladum ladum, with the young girl

– I don’t know if she’s going to welcome me
Aladum ladum, if she’s going to welcome me

I haven’t been dancing with her
Aladum ladum, haven’t been dancing

I didn’t take her golden ring
Aladum ladum, didn’t take it.
